In 2019, Morand released his hip hop-infused pop track “94 Corolla”, which explores the idea of life’s biggest moments happening in familiar, average spaces; specifically, two lovers entrenched in a moment of potential heartbreak in a 1994 Toyota Corolla, over anthemic modern production. The song was co-written and co-produced with fellow Canadian artist UNBLOOM, whom Morand has also worked with to co-write and perform as featured vocalist on UNBLOOM’s “Best Believe” (2019), a hook-driven, thoughtfully-crafted electro-pop banger. This succeeded Morand’s “Everything Is Gold / Believe” (2017), a double-single project promoted with a stunning around-the-world music video for “Everything Is Gold”, spanning 60 locations and four continents over six months of filming. This caught the attention of multiple TV and radio networks across Canada, including Much Music, CBC, CTV and Global News.
